Secure Socket Layer
This site employs Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to encrypt the session between each user's browser and the server throughout the entire Checkout procedure. Consequently, all personal information volunteered by the user during the Checkout process (name, address, phone number, e-mail address, shipping address, credit card number, etc.) is encrypted for the protection of the user's privacy and the security of the information.
Credit Card Numbers
This site stores ABSOLUTELY NO credit card numbers at any time or in any way. In addition to the SSL encryption used to ensure the security of personal and credit information at point of entry, this site merely passes the necessary credit information (without storing it) to its real-time credit card processing service, CyberCash ™, for verification. The communication with CyberCash ™ is achieved via a proprietary, triple Defense Encryption Standard (3DES), 168-bit encrypted gateway provided by CyberCash ™ for use by its client merchants. The results of each credit verification request are returned to this site via the secure gateway WITHOUT the associated credit card number.
